...It is located in the southern part of the Sefuri Mountains, in a mountain basin upstream of the Kase River (Kawakami River), where the Kaino River joins. The main springs are Kakurei, Fuji, and Eiryu, and in the late Edo period, a village headman from Furuyu village saw a crane playing in the water and dug an old spring outlet, which is said to have been called Kakurei Onsen.
