Oguni-so

Japanese:
Oguni-so
This manor was located in Iino and Taki counties in Ise Province, and is centered around Oguni, Taki Town, Mie Prefecture. In 812, Emperor Saga donated 185 cho of land, which had been the family estate of the late Princess Fuse, daughter of Emperor Kanmu, to Toji Temple in Kyoto, to establish the area. Until the Nanboku-cho period, it was the domain of the Toji Choja, and in 1343, Choja Kenshun donated it to the Toji monks and scholars. In 835, the public fields scattered within the manor were exchanged for the fields of the neighboring Kawai Manor, and the area was unified. In 832 and 856, ronin from Iino County were donated, and the names of Sakata Kawanari and Do Yoshinari appear as manor officials, and the system of control was established. In 932, the manor had a land area of 111 cho (83 cho of Kawanari Tsune wild land and 27 cho of matured fields), 74 cho of land owned by others (35 cho of Kawanari wild land and 39 cho of matured fields), 15 cho of public land area, and 24 cho of land hidden by ronin. Because it was located in the sacred districts of Iino and Taki, it received land tax and land seizure from the tato (governing priests and priests) of Ise Shrine, who had the authority of Ise Shrine as their backing. In the early 10th century, Kodera no Nushi Shinen visited the area and reported that the tato (governing priests and priests) were receiving land tax and land seizure, claiming that there should be no Buddhist land within the shrine territory. At the end of the 11th century, it was reported that temple envoy Enjun and others had further advanced the seizure of land by local lords and priests in collusion with the tato (governing priest Arakida Nobuyoshi) and the county governor. In 1134, the chief priest Fujii Tokimitsu sued the Onakaomi clan for seizure of the estate. In addition, because the estate was scattered on either side of the great river (Kushida River), it was often subject to flood damage, and in 1121, about 60% of the fields were washed away. The priests and scholars were appointed to the position of assistant priest and scholar, and the estate was restored. In 1344, Matsuzurumaru was appointed as the administrator, Sukemune as the official document, and Shinkai Hoin as the assistant priest. However, due to resistance from farmers and seizures by Jinjin Jokoin and the Ikemura brothers, vassals of the Aisu clan, progress was slow. The record of a council in 1394 to request measures for the management of the estate from the shogunate is said to be the last time the name of the estate appears.
