Underwater forest

Underwater forest
〘 noun 〙 A place in the sea where relatively large seaweed such as kombu and wakame grows thickly and looks like a forest. It is found on rocky reefs about 20 meters deep from the low tide line, and is important for fisheries as it attracts many fish and shellfish .
