Keiryu Mountain

Japanese: 鶏竜山 - けいりゅうさん
Keiryu Mountain
A mountain located in central Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. It is a mountain range of more than 10 peaks, the main peak of which is 845m above sea level. The steep mountain range and exposed oddly shaped rocks create a scenic beauty. There are more than 20 temples at the foot of the mountain, but the most famous are Donghaksa Temple, a nunnery built in the Silla period, and Gapsa Temple, built in the Baekje period. Near the peak is a settlement called Shindonae, where many folk religious groups are concentrated. It has been designated a national park.
