It was compiled based on the encyclopedia Shochureki compiled by Miyoshi Tameyasu in the late Heian period, and the similar Kaichureki, with reference to Renchusho and Kanchusho. The title of the book comes from the fact that it was created based on the two books Shochureki and Kaichureki.
