Periphery wall

...Depending on what is being considered, the word "wall" can be used to refer to the entire wall as a partition between spaces, or to refer to only one side of the wall. From the former perspective, it is possible to classify walls as exterior walls that separate two exterior spaces, outer perimeter walls that separate an exterior space from an interior space, partition walls that separate two interior spaces, and partition walls that separate two dwelling units, especially in apartment buildings. From the latter perspective, it is possible to classify walls as exterior walls that face the exterior space and interior walls that face the interior space, and it is even possible to define walls that have both exterior and interior walls as exterior walls.
