...They are particularly skilled at climbing trees and live in the trees of forests, feeding mainly on birds. The very similar Oncilla tigrinus (English name: Oncilla, tiger cat), which lives in forests from Costa Rica to northern Argentina, has hair on its nape that points backwards and has 10 to 13 black ring-shaped spots on its tail. It has a body length of 50 to 55 cm, a tail length of 24 to 42 cm, and a weight of 1.5 to 2.8 kg.
