A pass on the border between Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City. There is an old pass (220m above sea level) and a new pass (195m above sea level), which was once the San'in Road and is now the National Route 9. There is a tunnel under the new pass. Oeyama, the legendary land of Shuten-doji, is said to be located near this pass.
