Needle - Ohari

…refers to a woman employed by a tailor to sew clothes. She is also called a seamstress. In Japan, sewing came to be called "ohari" or "needlework" in the early modern period, and in the Edo period, women who sewed, called "shinmyo," worked at kimono shops that made clothes for feudal lords and other feudal lords.
