This theater was located in Harukicho, Hongo, Tokyo ( Hongo 3- chome, Bunkyo Ward). It opened in 1873. It was a theater that was moved from the Odeko Theater Daitatsu in Ryogoku, and its leading actor was Kanesaburo Bando. It was the predecessor of the later Haruki Theater and Hongo Theater.
