〘名〙 (「ほくそ」は「おくそ」の変化) 苧(からむし)の茎で作った頭巾。形は山岡頭巾と同じで深くかぶり、紐で結ぶ。多く鷹匠や猟師が用いた。強盗頭巾(がんどうずきん)。細頭巾。※俳諧・正章千句(1648)一「槇の葉の露や猟師の袖の上 ほくそ頭巾にかよふ松風」
