A full-length Chinese drama written by Hongsheng of the Qing dynasty. It has 50 acts and was completed in the 27th year of the Kangxi era (1688). It is based on the story of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang dynasty and Yang Guifei. It is a full-length drama that compiles many previous works that deal with this story, such as Bai Juyi's "Song of Everlasting Regret," Chen Hong's "The Tale of the Song of Everlasting Regret," and Bai Renfu's Yuan-style play "Wutong Rain." It differs from previous works in that it depicts the relationship between Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei as one of pure love, and it is said to have taken more than ten years to complete, with the draft being revised three times. It also has excellent music, making it the greatest work of the Qing dynasty.

中国の長編戯曲。清の洪昇の作。 50幕。康煕 27 (1688) 年成立。唐の玄宗と楊貴妃の故事を主題としたもの。白居易の『長恨歌』，陳鴻の『長恨歌伝』，白仁甫の元曲『梧桐雨』など，この故事を扱った多くの先行作品をもととし，これを集大成して長編の戯曲としたもの。玄宗と楊貴妃の関係を純粋な愛情として描いた点が従来の作品と異なり，十余年を費やし，3度も稿を変えて成ったと伝えられる。音楽もすぐれ，清代第一の大作。
