An old town in Mitsu District, central Okayama Prefecture. Located on the Kibi Plateau, the main settlement is Shimokamo along the Ukai River. The town produces rice, tobacco, peaches, and flowering trees. Kamo Market was once the site of a regular market, and the town is home to Kamo Sosha Shrine, and the Kamo Festival in October is famous. In October 2004, the town was incorporated as a town by merging with Kayo Town, Kamibo District, to become Kibichuo Town. Area: 141.15 km2 .
