Okinawa Mekura - Okinawa Mekura

...Its English name is hagfish (a fish that resembles an evil old woman). Two species are found in the waters off Japan: the hagfish Myxine garmani (illustration) and the Okinawan hagfish Myxine paucidens . The former is a rare species known only from the Sagami Bay, and the latter is found in southern Japan.
