Kamiyubetsu [town] - Kamiyubetsu
A former town in Monbetsu District, Hokkaido. Located in the lower reaches of the Yubetsu River, it produces potatoes, sugar beets, wheat, and asparagus. Dairy farming is also practiced. Merged with Yubetsu Town, Monbetsu District, in October 2009. Area: 161.39 km2 . Population: 5,841 (2005).
