Oil stain

Japanese: オイルステイン
Oil stain
Stains are dyes or pigments. Depending on the type of solvent, there are oil stains, alcohol stains, and water-based stains. Oil stains are paints in which oil-soluble dyes are dissolved or insoluble pigments are dispersed in a solvent containing boiled oil or varnish. They are used for coloring wood and imitating fine woods. When this is mixed with a whitening pigment such as barium carbonate powder, it can be used to color wood and fill the gaps.
