Born on August 3, 1897. The eldest son of the second Umemoto Sensho. He became a professor at the Takarazuka Music and Drama School and attracted attention with his group dance "From Spring to Autumn." In 1928, he succeeded the third head of the Umemoto school. From 1921, he studied dance theory in Germany. While inheriting tradition, he also created new dance and presented unique works. He passed away on February 4, 1985. He was 87 years old.
