A mountain range in the Karakoram Mountains, in northern Kashmir, at the northern tip of India. The name means "Shining Wall" in Baluchi. It consists of six peaks. Peak I (also called Hidden Peak, 8,068m) was first climbed by the American Clinch team in 1958. Peak II (8,035m) was first climbed by an Austrian team in 1956, and Peak IV (7,980m) by an Italian team in 1958. There are also two other peaks in the 7,000m class, Peak III (7,925m).
