One store, one account system

Japanese: 一店一帳合制 - いってんいっちょうあいせい

A system whereby a manufacturer limits the retailers to which a wholesaler can sell, and restricts the retailers from doing business with any other wholesalers, and is one way of affiliating a manufacturer's distribution network. When a retailer is only allowed to do business with one wholesaler, it is called a one-store, one-account system. This limits competition between wholesalers for the manufacturer's products and retailers, and also allows the wholesaler to earn a stable margin. From the manufacturer's perspective, it is beneficial to be able to grasp the entire flow of product distribution. Furthermore, if it allows them to receive royalties from distributors, it will be easier to control the entire distribution channel, resulting in a stable supply of products and efficient distribution. Because of the large effect of restricting competition, it is generally considered illegal under the Antimonopoly Act.

メーカーが卸売業者に対し，その販売先の小売業者を限定し，その小売業者に決まった卸売業者以外と取引できなくさせるなど，直接当事者でないものが事業者の販売先を一つに限定する制度で，メーカーの流通系列化の一手段。小売業者に対して一つの卸売業者との取引しか認めない場合，特に一店一帳合制という。これによって，このメーカーの製品をめぐる小売業者に向けての卸売業者間の競争は制限され，卸売業者に安定したマージンを与えることもできる。メーカーにとってみれば，製品の流通全体の流れを把握できる点にメリットがある。さらにそれによって，流通業者のロイヤリティも得ることができれば，結果的に流通チャネル全体のコントロールがやりやすくなり，製品の安定供給，流通の効率化が達成される。競争制限効果が大きいために，独占禁止法では原則として違法とされている。
