Monohydric Alcohol - Ikka Alcohol

An alcohol with one hydroxyl group in the molecule. It is named by adding ol to the name of the hydrocarbon or by adding alcohol to the name of the hydrocarbon group (e.g., 2-propanol, isopropyl alcohol, etc.).

Depending on the type of carbon atom to which the hydroxy group is bonded, alcohols are classified as primary alcohols R-CH ₂ OH, secondary alcohols (a), and tertiary alcohols (b).

分子のなかにヒドロキシ基1個をもつアルコール．炭化水素名にオール(ol)をつけるか，炭化水素基名にアルコールをつけて命名される(2-プロパノール，イソプロピルアルコールなど)．

ヒドロキシ基が結合している炭素原子の種類により，第一級アルコールR-CH₂OH，第二級アルコール(a)，第三級アルコール(b)に分類される．
