Year of birth: Year of birth unknown. A military commander in the late Kamakura period. Father-in-law of the regent Hojo Takatoki. His father was Muneaki, who was killed in the Shimotsuki Incident (1285). His mother was the daughter of Sankawa Shigemitsu. His wife was the daughter of Kanazawa Akikatsu. His posthumous name was Nobuaki. He lived in Amanawa, Kamakura. He was protected by the Hojo clan, descended from the Kanazawa clan and Hojo Masamura, and was restored to power with the downfall of Taira no Yoritsuna in 1293. He served as an eastern envoy from the Shōan era (1299-1302) onwards, and became the head of the Injuryō in 1312. After Takatoki became regent in 1315, he was a central figure in the Yorigoshū along with Nagasaki Takatsuna, and influenced the direction of the Kamakura shogunate. He was in charge of Kamizaida Manor in Harima Province (Hyogo Prefecture) and Kasahara Shrine in Ichinomiya, Tōtōmi Province, which were all part of the Kanto region, and held Shirakawa Manor in Echigo Province (Niigata Prefecture). In 1324, he donated a Song edition of the Buddhist scriptures to the Hokkeji Temple in Nara as a memorial for his parents. 鎌倉後期の武将。得宗・北条高時の外舅。父は霜月騒動(1285)で討たれた宗顕。母は山河重光の娘。妻は金沢顕雄の娘。法名は延明。居館は鎌倉の甘縄。金沢氏,北条政村の流れの北条氏に保護され,永仁1(1293)年の平頼綱の滅亡により復権し,正安年間(1299~1302)以降に東使の役を務め,正和1(1312)年に引付頭人。同5年の高時の執権就任以降は長崎高綱と共に寄合衆の中心人物で鎌倉幕府の動向を左右した。関東御領の播磨国(兵庫県)上在田荘や遠江国一宮笠原社などを管掌し,越後国白川荘(新潟県)を保持した。元亨4(1324)年に父母の供養のため奈良法華寺に宋版一切経を施入している。嘉暦1(1326)年の北条泰家の出家に際し出家し,元弘3(1333)年の幕府滅亡により東勝寺で自殺した。<参考文献>田中稔「秋田城 介時顕施入の法華寺一切経について」(『大和文化研究』38号),細川重男「秋田城介安達時顕」(『白山史学』24号),筧雅博「道蘊・浄仙・城入道」(『三浦古文化』38号),石井進「関東御領研究ノート」(『金沢文庫研究』26号)
