Carnivora, Felidae. Body length 75-105cm. Body color is orange-brown or dark brown with faint stripes on the shoulders. Ears are small and rounded at the tips. A rare species closely related to the African golden cat, it is somewhat large. It is found in southwestern China, India, Myanmar, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, etc., and lives on rocky areas in high forests. It feeds on hares, deer, and young water buffalo.
