1933- An actress from the late Showa to Heisei eras.
Born January 11, 1933. The eldest daughter of Okada Tokihiko. Wife of Yoshida Yoshishige. Given her stage name by Tanizaki Junichiro, she made her film debut in 1951 in Toho's "Maihime". In 1957 she moved to Shochiku. From around "Season of the Wicked Woman" in 1958 she began playing adult female roles, from melodramatic heroines to comedies in films such as "Onna no Saka", "Onna Mai" and "Akitsu Onsen". She also appeared on stage frequently. Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Niigata Prefectural Nuttari High School. Her real name is Mariko.
