Akahada Kiln - Akahadayo

...Seven kilns that are said to have been taught by the feudal tea master Kobori Enshu in the early Edo period and to have produced his favorite tea utensils. The Seven Enshu Kilns were first mentioned in the late Edo period, and in "Thoughts on Pottery" published in 1854 (Ansei 1), the kilns of Shidoro, Agano, Asahi, Zeze, Takatori, Kosobe, and Akahada are listed as kilns of the provinces excluding Seto.
