Agassiz [Lake] - Agassiz

The lake is a long, narrow lake stretching from north to south, with a length of about 440 km. It is the name of Lake Agassiz, a huge lake that existed during the Pleistocene era. It is the largest lake in the Nelson River system, and the Winnipeg River and Red River flow into it from the upper reaches, while the Nelson River flows out from the northern end into Hudson Bay.
