(4) Water-jet loom: A loom that uses a jet of water to insert the weft. It was developed in Czechoslovakia in 1955. Currently, Japan's technology is the most advanced, with low noise and high efficiency, but spun yarns made of natural fibers are easily affected by water, and there are limitations to its uses.
