[Children's lies]
Children's lies have various meanings, and their evaluation cannot be made uniformly. J.B. Morgan once analyzed children's lies and listed the following seven types: (1) lies told in pretend play, (2) lies told due to a lack of ability to report certain things in detail, (3) lies told to get someone's attention, (4) lies told to retaliate, (5) lies told out of fear of punishment, (6) lies told to get something one wants, and (7) lies told to protect a friend.
