...PP processing, which uses a lot of treatment agents, significantly reduces the strength of the fibers, so it is mainly used for cotton-polyester blended fabrics. Also, to prevent the recontamination of the fabric by oily stains that have been removed from the fabric during washing, PP processing was combined with soil release (SR) processing. Dimethylol dihydroxyethylene urea, which generates little formaldehyde, was mainly used for W & W processing and PP processing.
