Japanese: 岡康砧(岡安砧) - おかやすぎぬた

Name of Nagauta piece and Yamada school koto piece. As Nagauta, it is the common name of the secret piece "Kinuta" composed by Gensuke Okayasu II. It is said that "Kinuta of Tsukimae" was handed down to the Okayasu family, but the current "Kinuta of Tsukimae" is a different piece composed by Masajiro Kineya III in 1854 (Ansei 1). There are various theories about the composition of the original piece, but none of them are credible. Its relationship to Nagauta is also unclear. The name of the piece first appeared as a Yamada school koto piece in "Azuma Uta" written by Hoitsu Sakai (died 1828). However, the current piece was transferred to koto music by Yasuyoshi Yamamuro, a Yamada school koto musician and head of the Fujiue school kokyu family, at the end of the 19th century (Meiji 20s), and was popularized by Shoin Yamase III and others.

長唄曲名および山田流箏曲名。長唄としては，2世岡安源助作曲の秘曲《擣衣（きぬた）》の俗称。岡安家には《月前の擣衣》が伝えられていたとされるが，現行の《月前の砧》は3世杵屋（きねや）正治郎が1854年(安政1)作曲したもので別曲。原曲の作曲については諸説あり，いずれも信じがたい。長唄との関係も不明。酒井抱一(1828没)筆《吾妻唄》に，山田流箏曲としての曲名が初出。ただし，現行曲は藤植（ふじえ）流胡弓奥組本曲を，山田流箏曲家で藤植流胡弓の家元であった山室保嘉が，19世紀末(明治20年代)に箏曲に移曲し，3世山勢松韻などが世に広めたもの。
