Year of birth: unknown. Samurai of the late Kamakura period. A member of the Ogasawara clan of the Kai Genji clan. A brave samurai skilled with a strong bow, he lost his land and became a villain, so he was wanted for capture. On the night of March 9, 1290 (Shoō ​​3), he broke into the Imperial Palace with his sons to search for Emperor Fushimi and the Crown Prince. However, the Emperor fled to Kasuga Palace disguised as a woman. Having failed to find the whereabouts, Yori and his companions were surrounded by samurai who worked for the bonfire who rushed to the scene with the news, and committed suicide in Seiryōden. The circumstances behind the incident were complicated, and it was rumored that Emperor Kameyama, who was dissatisfied with the succession to the throne, was involved, so the Emperor sent a statement to Hojo Sadatoki denying any involvement in the incident.

鎌倉後期の武士。甲斐源氏小笠原の一族。強弓をよくする勇猛な武士であったが,所領を失って悪党化したため,追捕の対象者として指名手配されていた。正応3(1290)年3月9日夜,息子らと内裏に侵入して伏見天皇と皇太子の所在を求めた。しかし,天皇は女装して春日殿に逃れた。所在探索に失敗した為頼らは,知らせで馳せつけた篝屋役の武士らに包囲され,清涼殿で自害した。事件の背後関係は複雑で,皇位継承に不満を持つ亀山法皇がかかわっているのではないかとうわさされたため,法皇は北条貞時に告文を送って事件との関係を否定している。
