A humorous story. One volume. Written by the owner of Kenshokaku. Published in 1746 (Enkyo 3). First, he described the scene of the pleasure quarters of Shimanouchi, Osaka, in the Chinese-style humorous story "Kangnan Giyukki," and then in the "Yenkihen," he describes in a conversational style the scene of a traveler, Kajō, coming to a teahouse and inviting a familiar prostitute to play in the room, capturing delicate emotions. It is also of great historical significance as a work that shows the way in which a casual, conversational style of writing began to take hold as a method of expression in humorous stories that originated as a pastime for intellectuals.
