Dannemora (English spelling)

Japanese: ダンネムーラ（英語表記）Dannemora

A municipality in the northern part of Uppland County, Sweden. In 1952, the parishes of Dannemoora, Fymm, and Mørkara were merged to become a municipality. It is home to the famous Dannemoora mine, which produces tin and iron ore, the main product of which is used to make steel for tools due to its low sulfur content. Development began in the 15th century, and in the 16th century it was a royal estate, but was later sold to the private sector, and several private companies formed the Dannemoora Mine Development Corporation, which was assigned mining areas and operates the mines.
