A samurai family from the Middle Ages and Early Modern Periods in Musashi and Totomi. The Azuma Kagami lists Totomi Asaba Manor's governor Munenobu, Asaba Saburo, Kosaburo Yukimitsu, and Goro Yukinaga. As a powerful man in Totomi Province, Munenobu allied with Minamoto no Yoritomo, and in 1181 (Yowa 1) he was granted possession of Uchishiba Village and Tadokoro Office in the manor. Asaba Saburo is seen hunting on Mt. Futamata with Totomi no Kami Minamoto no Yoshisada and his son in 1186 (Bun'ei 2), and is presumed to have been related to the provincial government office. The Musashi Seven Party Genealogy lists Yukimitsu and Yukinaga as the sons of Asaba Saburo Yukichika, and their common names match those in the Azuma Kagami.
