DSM screen

...The arc-shaped screen (Figure 2), which uses a wedge wire with a mesh size of 0.1 to 1 mm to form a sieve surface into an arc and sieves pulp fed in the tangential direction, is a simple structure but has excellent performance, and is used for screening pulverized coal in coal preparation plants and in the potato starch manufacturing process. This device was developed at the research laboratory of the Dutch State Mines, so it is called the DSM screen after the research institute and is also known by its original name, sieve bend.
