A nobleman from the early to mid-Edo period, and a Shintoist of the Suika school. A member of the Fujiwara clan. His pen names were Shiragyokuo, Shuhatsusai, and Fusuiken. He was born on June 26, 2nd year of the Shoo era. He rose through the ranks to become Gon Dainagon and also served as a samurai denso (messenger of state). He was further promoted to the rank of Juichii (Ju 1st rank) and died on July 12, 18th year of the Kyoho era. In 1680 (Enpo 8), he became a disciple of Yamazaki Ansai, and upon Ansai's death in 1682 (Tenna 2), according to his will, he became the center of Suika Shinto. He compiled "Jijusho" by removing the passages about the Three Sacred Treasures and the legend of Himorogi Iwasaka from Ansai's main work "Fusuisou", and named it "Jijusho" by taking the passages from "Kujihongigengi" quoted in "Fusuisou". Both were highly regarded as secretaries of the Suika school. In his book "Mukyūki", he presented the correct lineage of the imperial line from the standpoint of the orthodox Yoshino Court (Southern Court). "Ogimachi Kinmichikyo Kuketsu" is a record of the oral teachings of Kinmichi.
