FEP - FEP
A program that executes a preliminary step in another process. Because the Japanese input system used in MS-DOS used this mechanism, it is also used as a nickname for the Japanese input system. Nowadays, it is often called IME (Input Method Editor) in Windows and IM (Input Method) in Mac OS.
