Ethno-sciences

... From this new perspective, the diachronic view of the chronological progress of science, that is, the progressive view of history, is denied, and the synchronic view that current Western science is the only correct knowledge of nature is denied. Why then does science appear to be superior to various other "ethno-sciences"? This is fundamentally because the legitimacy and orthodoxy of science is guaranteed by all social institutions, including politics, education, and economics.
