The oriental stink bug, Coreus marginatus orientalis , is 12-16 mm long and dark red with fine black dots scattered all over. The original species is common in Europe, and in Japan it is found in the mountains of Hokkaido and Honshu, where it attaches to Asteraceae plants and daisies.
