...After the Nanboku-cho period, the trade and associated fields of Mikuniminato were controlled by the Imperial Household Ministry's Naizenshi, but in 1481 (Kouwa 1/Eitoku 1) and 1412 (Oei 19), there were reports of interference from neighboring samurai, and in 1466 (Bunsho 1), the Naizenshi and Kofuku-ji Temple fought over the ownership of Mikuniminato. In 1396 (Oei 3), there was a dispute between Mikuniminato and Akoe on the opposite bank over the ownership of Dekishima (Doujitsu Island), which had formed on an island at the mouth of the river. During the Muromachi period, the local lords Horie and Obuse were appointed as the local governors of Mikuniminato, which was the domain of Kofuku-ji Temple, and under the rule of the Asakura clan, Asakura Mitsuku became the governor and had Mikuniminato under his control. ...
