…During this time, in 1950, Lohengrin premiered at the Weimar Court Theater without the composer, conducted by F. Liszt. In 1961, he composed the ballet Bacchanale for the first act of Tannhäuser for its Paris premiere, which was performed three times at the Opera. He was invited by King Ludwig II of Bavaria to live in Munich, where he devoted himself to composing, but he had many enemies, and he could not bear it any longer.
