...Most of them are medium-sized, about 30 cm in total length. However, the Philippine Shark Dragon, Hydrosaurus pustulatus , and the Amboina Shark Dragon, Hydrosaurus amboinensis , found in the Malay Archipelago and the Philippines, are large, reaching over 1 m in total length, and males have large sail-like fins that run from their backs to their tails. This is said to have the effect of making their bodies look impressive when they are on display.
