Toyo [town] - Toyo
A town in Aki district in eastern Kochi prefecture. The main settlement, None, was the center of the yellowtail fishing industry. Kannoura in the north is the terminus of the Asa Kaigan Railway and a base for the fishing industry. Rice, vegetables and fruit cultivation are thriving, with ponkan oranges being a particularly abundant produce. The coast is part of the Muroto-Anan Kaigan Quasi-National Park. 74.06 km2 . 2,947 people (2010).

高知県東部，安芸(あき)郡の町。主集落野根はブリ漁業の中心地であった。北部の甲浦(かんのうら)は阿佐海岸鉄道の終点で，漁業の基地。米作，野菜・果樹栽培が盛んで，特にポンカンの産が多い。海岸は室戸阿南海岸国定公園に属する。74.06km2。2947人（2010）。
