A town in Aki district in eastern Kochi prefecture. The main settlement, None, was the center of the yellowtail fishing industry. Kannoura in the north is the terminus of the Asa Kaigan Railway and a base for the fishing industry. Rice, vegetables and fruit cultivation are thriving, with ponkan oranges being a particularly abundant produce.
