Granddaughter of Augustus, the first Roman emperor. Born to MV Agrippa and Augustus' daughter Julia, she married Germanicus, the adopted son of Emperor Tiberius. She accompanied her husband on his campaigns in Germania and the East, but came into conflict with him, suspecting that Tiberius was responsible for her husband's sudden death in Syria in 19. Eventually, she was framed for treason along with her two sons by the ambitious Praetorian Guard commander Seianus, who was vying for the position of emperor, and was exiled to the island of Pandatelia off the coast of Naples in 29. She was not released from exile even after Tiberius purged Seianus in 31, and died of starvation in 33.

ローマ初代皇帝アウグストゥスの孫娘。M.V.アグリッパとアウグストゥスの娘ユリアの間に生まれ，ティベリウス帝の養子ゲルマニクスと結婚。夫の，ゲルマニアや東方への遠征に同行したが，19年のシリアでの夫の急死をティベリウスによるものと疑い，彼と対立。やがて皇帝の地位をうかがう野心家の親衛隊長セイアヌスにより，2人の息子と共に反逆の罪を着せられ，彼女は29年ナポリ沖合のパンダテリア島に流された。31年にティベリウスがセイアヌスを粛清した後も追放を解かれず，33年食を断って死ぬ。
