A system in which an employer forcibly saves a portion of an employee's wages by withholding it, managing it, and regulating the return of the savings. Since the development of modern enterprises with the Industrial Revolution in the Meiji period, this system has been widely used under names such as guarantees, reserve funds, and incentive savings, and has the following characteristics: (1) As the nickname "guarantee" indicates, it has a nature similar to a security deposit. This is reflected in the savings rules, which state that "If a saver causes damage to the company intentionally or through strikes or violent acts, and leaves the company or causes others to leave the company, depending on the extent of the damage, all or a part of the current savings and any subsidies already paid may be seized by the company as damages, and in the end, they may not be paid."
