Afanas'eva (English spelling)

…a sub-Neolithic (Chalcolithic) culture from the middle of the 3rd millennium BC to the beginning of the 2nd millennium BC, found in the Minusinsk and Altai regions of southern Siberia, Russia. It was named after a burial site on Mount Afanas'eva near the village of Bateni in the Khakass Autonomous Region. The human remains found there belong to the Paleo-Europeide type.
