A regional brand of Mie prefecture, Tokai region.
Green tea produced in Mie Prefecture. Tea was introduced to Mie Prefecture about 800 years ago. Mie Prefecture is one of the leading tea producing areas in Japan, ranking among the top in both cultivation area and crude tea production. Fukamushi tea, Sencha, Kabusecha, and other types of tea are produced here. It has a strong flavor that does not deteriorate even after the second or third brewing. It was registered as a regional collective trademark with the Japan Patent Office in April 2007 (Heisei 19). The trademark registration number is 5040759. The owners of the regional collective trademark are the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations, Kameyama Tea Agricultural Cooperative, Mizusawa Tea Agricultural Cooperative, and Mie Prefecture Tea Commerce and Industry Cooperative.

三重県産の緑茶。三重県に茶が伝わったのは、およそ800年前に遡る。三重県は全国有数の茶産地で、栽培面積・荒茶生産量のいずれも全国の上位。ふかむし茶・煎茶・かぶせ茶などが生産されている。味が濃く、二煎目・三煎目でも味が落ちないことが特徴。2007(平成19)年4月、特許庁の地域団体商標に登録された。商標登録番号は第5040759号。地域団体商標の権利者は、全国農業協同組合連合会・亀山茶農業協同組合・水沢茶農業協同組合・三重県茶商工業協同組合。
