A Chinese thinker in the mid-Ming dynasty. His pen name was Yunsheng and his pen name was Sei'an. He was from Taihe County, Jiangxi Province. He wandered into Zen Buddhism in his youth, but returned to Neo-Confucianism at around the age of 40. As a thinker, he has two sides. One is that he modified Neo-Confucianism's theory of Li and Qi, placing a relatively higher emphasis on Qi. The other is that he was the first to criticize Wang Yangming (Shuren). Wang Yangming compiled Zhu Xi's Treatise on the Final Years, asserting that Zhu Xi (Zhu Xi) had fully criticized himself in his later years, and issued a challenge to Neo-Confucianism. However, there was an error in Wang Yangming's compilation of Zhu Xi's Treatise on the Final Years, which was accurately and sharply criticized by Luo Qin Shun. Wang Yangming accepted this criticism. However, Luo Qin Shun was unable to understand the structure of Wang Yangming's Liangzhi Xingxue. His main work, Qun Zhi Ji, is a valuable record that clearly shows the reactions and struggles of Neo-Confucian scholars during the rise of Yangmingism, and was widely read in Japan after being printed in Japanese. However, apart from the partial revision of the Li-Qi theory, it does not bring any significant philosophical innovation. This revision of Li-Qi has attracted attention in China and Japan as the philosophy of Qi, but this is an overestimation.
