A town in Higashimuro County in the southeastern part of Wakayama Prefecture, occupying the Kozagawa River basin. The town produces timber, yuzu and other specialty products. The Kozagawa River is famous for its beautiful gorge, and Shichikawa Dam is located here. Area: 294.23 km2 . Population: 3,103 (2010).
