A nuclear reactor that extracts heat by circulating liquid fuel, which is made by dissolving nuclear fuel material in molten salt. The nuclear fuel material is thorium and uranium fluorides. This technology was developed in the United States in the 1950s, but due to the abundance of thorium resources and the fact that it produces only small amounts of plutonium that can be converted into weapons, it is being developed as one of the fourth generation nuclear reactors. MSR(molten salt reactor)。
