A general term for hybrids between oranges and trifoliate oranges. A hybrid between a citrange and a kumquat is called a citrange cut. Rusk citrange is a hybrid between a sweet orange and trifoliate orange, and is often used as a rootstock for early-ripening and regular-ripening Satsuma mandarins. Troyer citrange is a hybrid between a Washington navel and trifoliate orange, and is resistant to the tristeza virus, a type of citrus virus.
